He was educated Lockheed Aircraft in 1952 at Radar Tech in Ontario, Canada. In 1955 Francis was an Electronics business in Carrington, Foster, North Dakota, United States. On 6 January 1961 he was a started radio station KDAK in Carrington, Foster, North Dakota, United States. He lived in Phoenix, Arizona, United States in 1979. Francis died on 8 June 2010 at the age of 87 in Phoenix, Marciopa, Arizona.

Francis William Carr and Lucille Lund were married in 1946. Lucille Lund, daughter of Herbert Lund and Violet Elizabeth Black, was born in 1928.
