We have a reservation at Bahia Redonda, in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela, for the months of September and October. Barb will fly to Las Vegas September 9, to see her sisters and parents.
We plan to travel inland to Merida, Venezuela (in the Andes) for three weeks in October where we will take a Spanish class for two weeks and travel for a week. Then we head back to Puerto La Cruz to get the boat bottom painted before we begin our trek up the Eastern Caribbean for the winter and spring.
And we still hope to join one or two other boats in cruising up one or more of the wild rivers that flow into the Orinoco Delta, Venezuela, in early November.
