20. Martha Josephine Hoffman was born on 13 December 1902 in Pleasant Valley, Foster County, ND. She was educated in 1922 at the nursing school in Bismarck, ND and Chicago, IL. In 1923–67 she was a nurse at Carrington Hospital in Carrington, ND. Martha died on 8 September 1993 at the age of 90 in Carrington, ND. She was buried on 15 September 1993 in Carrington, ND.

Martha Josephine Hoffman and Reinhold Lange were married on 10 September 1923 in Jamestown, ND. Reinhold Lange, son of Johan Lange and Louise Rosenau, was born on 24 March 1893 in Zhitomir, Volhynia, Russia. He immigrated in May 1913 to Baltimore, MD at on the ship Cassel from Bremen, Germany. He was buried in May 1981. Reinhold died of a stroke on 18 May 1981 at the age of 88 in Carrington, ND. He had Social Security Number 501-40-5212.
